Every Friday night Deb allows employees to be a bit more casual, they are allowed to wear jeans to work. If they wear them, they are asked to donate money. In the 6 short months they started wearing jeans, held a golf tournament and held a meat raffle, Deb and her staff raised $2,060 for the children of Camp Amanda Minnesota.
Camp Amanda is free to all campers. It is a grief camp that provides an encouraging enviroment and support network to children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or significant friend. These two-day camps provide opportunities for children whos loved ones have died and to share their feelings and memories.
2009 brought a new challenge and organization to donate towards. We have chosen the Kimball food shelf. We encourage customers alike to help us in our way of giving back to the community. We take great pride in our fund raising and are proud to help others out. Stop in Friday and check it out.
